The Chekhov 44, he claims, is a legendary weapon that has altered history across centuries, from Tsarist Russia to princely India. But Jagadeesan is a liar by trade, and Rajan knows it. With a gun aimed at him, Jagadeesan's fate rests not on whether the story is true, but on whether Rajan believes it.
