In this program Captain Kangaroo shares with children an eclectic selection of classic tales of the Christmas season, among them the French legend "The Gift of the Little Juggler", Hans Christian Andersen's immortal "The Fir Tree", and Clement Moore's beloved poem "A Christmas Carol." Alternately depicted in live dramatization and colorful animation, and narrated by the Captain, the stories are a reinforcement of the meaning of the season that children and adults alike will enjoy and cherish.
