“Birds of Prey” and the Fantabulous Emancipation from the DCEU
Birds of Prey has some of the best stunt work and choreography of 2020, and was the most fun I’d had in an action film since John Wick 3.

Luca, Anna, and Mirko, longtime friends, usually spend their holidays at Luca’s grandparents’ house in Sardinia. Over time, Luca realizes he’s in love with Mirko but, due to past experiences, struggles to express his feelings for fear that his friend might pull away and end their friendship. Tired of feeling miserable, Luca confides in Anna, who encourages him to open up and stop letting the past dictate his actions. Luca confronts his fears and confesses his love to Mirko, who, although he doesn’t feel the same, proves to be a loyal friend.

'Zombieland: Double Tap' was entertaining and fun at times, but not very evolved. It had poorly developed female characters and stereotypical characters of color.
