Everything The Critics Got Wrong About ‘Pinocchio’
I was able to watch the gleefully mesmerizing Disney remake that was Robert Zemeckis’ Pinocchio. I was enthralled by Zemeckis’ iteration.

When major drug-dealer Boca de Ouro dies, a reporter interviews his ex-lover, now married with children and living in a poorhouse, to try to understand more about his complex personality. The problem is that the woman tells him three different versions of Boca's life, according to her own mood and ambiguous feelings towards her dead lover.

I understand that this would have been consistent with the language used by that generation, due to its role in the medical profession, however as someone who has family members with Down Syndrome I took it very personally.
When the retelling of the Cinderella fairy tale and a holiday spirit come together, viewers learn about class issues as well as perseverance despite setbacks.

Hulu continues its Summer releases with The Princess. This film follows the princess (yes, she is unnamed) as she attempts to escape her tower, refusing to be wed to a cruel man vying for the throne. Action-packed and snarky, this is a decently fun film if you need a fighting fix.
From the cinematography to the script to the acting, Sorry, Baby is undoubtedly one of the best films of the year.
