This animated short film was produced as part of the bi-centenary of the French Revolution, in 1989. A joyful visual creation inspired by the Caribbean song "give me a tibo..."
This Comedy-Drama set in Nazi Germany, shows a young boy, Jojo who wants to be Hitler's personal guard and even conjures up Hitler to be his imaginary friend. His nationalism and prejudices of Jews change when he discovers a Jewish girl hiding in his attic.
The film basically says she was a lost cause from the start. We don't get a sense of who Marilyn was.
A surprise sequel takes place ten years after the original movie based on the title of the same name, but with a twist to the fairy tale.
Overall, Altered Carbon: Resleeved is pretty “meh.” It’s cool and all that it takes a different approach from the TV show to make it animated rather than live action, but it doesn’t help that the animation looks like something from a video game.
