During the summer of 2014, Federica travels with her mother to “La Retobada” to visit her grandmother Alicia. In the village, she reunites with Gala, her friend from every summer, and begins to experience new feelings that transform the way she understands friendship and desire. Amid family tensions, rumors, and traditions, Federica goes through a process of personal discovery that will mark the end of her childhood.

The accountant in question is Christian Wolff (Ben Affleck), who’s neurodivergent. We know this because at a dating event, he bores women with tax advice. He also places his breakfast foods in neat stacks and has no friends.
Cursed is based on Frank Miller’s graphic novel, and is a retelling of the Arthurian legend with a twist. Instead of King Arthur gaining Excalibur, a teenage sorceress named Nimue (Katherine Langford) does. Her people — the Fey — are being hunted down, and so Nimue will do whatever it takes to save them.
The trouble with Yara (2021) is that in its attempt to tell the whole story, it struggles to tell a consistently engaging story.
