In a small village, life goes on quietly until unknown criminals appear who have begun stealing cattle from the villagers. Three friends decide to become "superheroes" and, wearing homemade masks, set off to cleanse the village of alcohol. Their naive heroism first causes laughter, then admiration, and soon suspicion, because it was at that time that thefts were taking place in the village. Now the friends have to prove that they are not to blame, and turn from simple guys into real defenders of their village.

On top of the phenomenal acting, and great dialogue between the two characters, the cinematography was ravishing! The sound was outstanding! The production design was simple, yet intrinsic. The minimalistic approach in the Malibu beach house represented how little they really have going on in their relationship. The storyline may have been much simpler than "Who's Afraid of Virginia Wolf," but all the more insightful, and much more animalistic at its core.
After two months of refusing to see this movie, I have decided that it’s finally Morbin’ time. After its re-release as a box office bomb; I watched it just to laugh at it. But, I was also surprised, because 'Morbius' is a queer allegory.
