When wistful introvert Alan Furnace meets quick-witted bombshell Beatrice, he has no idea of her secret life as "B. Monkey" -- the top thief-for-hire in London's criminal underworld. Moonlight is a film that will certainly be remembered for how it won Best Picture, but the movie itself should be known for its excellent representation of one of the most underrepresented groups in film: Black, gay men.
All in all, “Event Horizon” is a cinematic misfire, begging to be perfected in the future. While it possesses an array of admirable visuals, the film leaves much to be desired. If only we could see Anderson’s preferred cut, which featured more character development and tortuous imagery. In the meantime, I have a catchphrase for this film: In space no one can hear you snore.
How powerful can a story be when it is stripped to the bare essentials of just a room, a handful of people and raw human voice?
Although not canonically aromantic or asexual. the stories and personalities of these Disney princesses resonate with members of the aroace community.
Being made after the death of Chadwick Boseman will be a hard but exciting ride for this Marvel entry.
