Cesare, a young musicology student attends the screening of an archival video presented by a strange professor. As the video moves forward cesare is more and more entranced by the thoughts and philosophies presented by the speaker. Silvia, his classmate, witnesses Cesar’s metamorphoses, who finds himself irresistibly pulled toward a mysterious castle haunted by the ghost of an old man.

There’s been a longstanding criticism of sci-fi films about its lack of Black characters. For the past few years, Anthony Mackie has been successfully representing Black masculinity in the otherwise homogenous genre and I am here for it.

The final scene of the first season led us to believe that, despite the conflict, drama, and toxic traits, the main characters would end up together and, most likely, live happily ever after. The whole “beef” plot was the prelude to their love story.
