Atrocious 

This is a film that is going to leave some people bored, and some people thrilled.

Escape The Field is a serviceable horror thriller. The characters are easier to remember as horror character tropes. As I wrote this review, I only remembered the characters by their tropes: #FinalGirl, #Everyman, #Badass, #MeanB*/SexyGirl, #Realist/BlackLesbian, and #TheNerd.

At first glance, Black as Night is a strange title choice for a film about vampirism in post-Katrina New Orleans. However, the title alludes to the world's anti-black and colorist messages.

In Tall Girl, Jodi learns to stand tall and find confidence within.

At 2:17 a.m., every child in a third-grade class wakes up, leaves their home, and disappears into the darkness—except one. If your upbringing was anything like mine, where the TV acted as an additional parent- there are so many new stories and perspectives to explore.
