Why Mean Girls 2 Is Considered a Big Flop
A teen comedy that nobody wants to see.

In the documentary, we dive deep into the eight-year-old rape case against Antonio, son of the artist Anna Book. Through exclusive interviews and never-before-heard testimony, we reveal how our justice system can fail and lead to convictions in strange and diffuse circumstances. This film is not about determining Antonio's guilt or innocence, but about examining how the legal process was handled. I highlight flaws in the legal system, where crucial evidence and testimony was ignored, and how this affected everyone involved. I have had access to people close to the case such as witnesses, friends, family and Antonio himself, who shared his experiences after the verdict - from mental stress to addiction problems. We also hear from family members and others concerned who give their view of the events.

Netflix’s new rom-com, Voicemails for Isabelle (dir. Leah McKendrick), isn’t just heartwarming, funny, and an achievement in female directing - it’s also an instant classic. Following 20-something aspiring baker Jill (Zoey Deutch), Voicemails for Isabelle tells a story of grief, self-discovery, and fateful connections. Ever since her beloved sister Izzy’s (Ciara Bravo) death, Jill has been leaving her hilarious, extremely TMI voicemails about her chaotic love life and miserable day job as a prep cook. Little does she know that a handsome and unsatisfied real estate agent in her hometown has inherited the number and practically fallen in love with her by listening to her stories.
This drama film is about Priscilla and Elvis Presley's failed marriage through the lens of the title character.
Dramatic Horror!!! Wait, what?? Did you say "dramatic horror"?? IS there such a thing?? I mean, TRULY. Well, if San Francisco-based, Pakistani-born independent filmmaker Dr. Hassan Zee and this film critic have anything to say about it, there IS such a beast as experienced through the director's newest feature film set to officially debut October 4th in the City by the Bay. Folks, indie film will always be a bastion of experimentation and originality, and this film for me fits that bill.
Paris is Burning elevated drag and ballroom into the public consciousness and permanently impacted LGBT culture. However, the performers featured in the documentary didn't reap the rewards of their visibility.
