When we hear Korean Cinema, we often think of South Korean Cinema, but what about North Korea? Sure, North Korea has its propaganda moments, but 'Pulgasari' might be its best one yet.

Disney has a glaring and, up until recently, unaddressed issue that spans nearly its entire lifetime - an absence of diversity.

In this short film, writer/director Nikita Hattangady focuses on Jai, a starving artist rooted in the latter category. Though unhoused, he works hard.

Nick Rowland’s She Rides Shotgun is a blistering, blood-soaked road thriller that doubles as a bruised love story between a haunted ex-con (a career-best Taron Egerton) and the daughter he barely knows (astonishing newcomer Ana Sophia Heger). I understand that this would have been consistent with the language used by that generation, due to its role in the medical profession, however as someone who has family members with Down Syndrome I took it very personally.

This animated movie is based on the migration of birds from the north to the south.
