The main character is a minister who is in a very difficult life situation. He was confused. A small child has his own experiences. A person who has reached the appropriate level lives in his world. But we are all very similar. Despite all that is happening to us, there are still some basic values, based on which, we will be able to exist harmoniously in this world.

Many of the songs that rose him to fame were songs by Black artists he heard growing up in primarily Black settings.
