Airil, who has already divorced Fatihah, attempts to reunite their family, including undergoing treatment with a psychiatrist. Even after three months of divorce, Airil is still determined to persuade Fatihah to reconcile, feeling that his life is incomplete without Fatihah and Aleeya by his side. However, Fatihah is still traumatized and grows to hate Airil even more when he continues to interfere in her life, causing her to move to Terengganu with Aleya. Only when they are apart does Fatihah realize how difficult life is without Airil and is forced to become self-reliant. Moreover, Aleeya has now learned to rebel because she misses Airil and is distressed because Fatihah spends more time at her new job than with her own daughter. Various trials befall her, including romantic pressure from Nizam, her boss, the problem of Aleya being influenced by bad friends, and new love from Hafiz.

Margaret Qualley is fantastic as the wise-cracking private eye Honey, with Aubrey Plaza and Chris Evans adding their own dry humor to the mix.
