Amravathi, a naive girl, runs away from home and finds shelter in Arjun's house, who takes good care of her. However, when Arjun falls in love with Amravathi, her life takes a turn.

While the film didn’t hit me as emotionally as I wanted it to, I still enjoyed it. I simply wish there was a little more, particularly with the world building.
Set against the backdrop of the Jim Crow era, the film offers layered representation.
