A group of beggars lives inside an abandoned theater, using it as a shelter. When a police officer arrives to pursue them, they pretend to be a theater troupe rehearsing a play. The officer believes their story, leading to a series of humorous situations and unexpected events.
This is not a slavery story, it is a freedom story. The viewers only see Harriet as a slave for the first few minutes of the film. To me, it felt like watching the origin story of a superhero…which is both good and bad.

As noted in the headline, I didn’t like this movie. Not to say it’s the worst thing ever, but it’s just…meh. Nothing much to it. Very generic. No surprises. At the very least, the cast is diverse so I’ll give it that.
Based on the fairy character from previous movies, this fantasy movie gives viewers magic.
