Against the ropes

Freddie is a renowned boxer turned underground illegal fighter, known as The Gent in the ring for his natural charm. He’s never lost a fight and is consumed by his lifestyle, causing him to become distant from his family. He’s prone to anger but has lost touch with his deeper emotions after his wife passed away and lost custody of his daughter Evelyn (Evie). When he’s offered a large sum of money to throw a fight, he is faced with a dilemma: to decline, win the fight and continue his winning streak; or take the opportunity to make things right with his daughter, in a last effort to be a better father, despite the threat from his infamous boss. He must sacrifice his pride to put an end to his years of fighting and reconnect with Evie.
