A mysterious man offers John hope with his dying wife. A locket, which will grant a single wish. John wishes that death cease to exist. Chaos ensues as the living can't die, and the dead can't remain in the grave.

Overall, 18 Presents feels more like a soap opera than a drama, and I feel bad for saying that since the concept is based off a tragic story (even though it’s loosely). I’m sure other people will find this film emotional for them, but as for me, it’s bland and forgettable.
This powerful story shines with poetic animation, an exploration of deeper truths, and the protagonist's complex search for identity.
Considering the runtime, I expected each scene to hit harder as opposed to a series of montages and vignettes.
The more we learned with each passing minute the bigger the reveal. This film ends with a serious bang and it was truly a joy to watch.
Wilde’s coming-of-age comedy directorial debut is simultaneously hilarious and entertaining, and remarkably heartfelt and relatable.
