51 IFLY is a mockumentary that deals with the search for extraterrestrial life. A french documentary crew encounters an extraterrestrial being and decides to help him find a way home. It follows the crew investigating and interviewing various scientists and part speaks of the current state of the search for extraterrestrial life. It features interviews from members of the SETI ( Frank Drake, Jill Tarter, Seth Shostak,Franck Marchis, Bill Diamond,David Grinspoon) Richard Doty(Special Agent) , Preston Dennett (Ufologist) , Jean-François Clervoy (Astronaut), Michel Mayor (Astrophysicist) ,Claudio Maccone (Astronomer), Elinor Gates (Astronomer) .
Hustlers was meant to be a film about female empowerment. And it was, to a certain extent. I expected and wanted this to be a kickass and complex film of sexy women who use their confidence, skills, and wits towards a brilliant plan to get revenge on the Wall Street guys who wronged them.
What seems like such a simple story of survival is so much more than that—it’s a story of family, and of war, and of destruction. It’s painful to watch, but not in a bad way. It makes its audience reflect on their own actions, and in how they are complicit in the sufferings of others as the adults in this film are. Grave of the Fireflies does not hold back from being heartbreaking, and it shouldn’t. It tells a message that needs to be heard decades after the war, and a story that cannot be forgotten by history.
This surprisingly clever romantic comedy perfectly balances genuine heart with wild reality television chaos. It is an uplifting and funny reminder that second chances and real community can show up exactly when you stop looking for them.
