It surely isn't for everybody and could certainly offend some folks, but Troll Hunter takes a different approach to representing religion in a film.

Since their early childhood, Sébastien, Céline and Stéphane were very close brothers and sisters until Céline met Luigi, the father of her son Marco. A relationship that Sébastien and Stéphane did not approve of. This harmful relationship created a distance between the 2 brothers and the sister. Since Stéphane was released from prison, Sébastien, who is less resentful than his brother, will try by all means to reconnect Céline and Stéphane. But, after a tragic event in their sister's life, they have no choice but to help her without knowing what awaits them. The two brothers will venture into totally crazy galleys, with disconcerting clumsiness, each more hilarious than the last.
