This HBO mini-series asks why a young white man turned to violence and finds no easy answers. But why do we only ask questions about certain kinds of killers?
All in all, 47 Meters Down: Uncaged is a film I would recommend. It promotes the bond of sisterhood, which in this case is clearly thicker than blood, as well as courage. No one truly knows how strong they are until they go through something unimaginable and come out changed for the better.
The film is a powerful narrative encompassing a theme that many people can identify with.
This list was made with the intention of celebrating comedic craft and a love of seeing more women of colour and newcomers on the scene.
