Winners and honorees determined by audience voting during the film festival September 15 - 20.
Judges will assess the films to ensure quality and adherence before granting awards.
Film Contest Details & Rules
Short film less than 20 minutes
Protagonist/Lead must be an underrepresented minority in film [person of color, woman, lgbtq]
The film's overall message cannot be derogatory towards minorities
The applicant must own the rights to the submitted work (no plagiarism)
The applicant agrees to show their film publicly on Youtube
The applicant must agree to the waiver with more general rules
