Uruguayan writer, director, and producer, born in 1999 in Montevideo. Before his feature film debut, he directed eight short films, winning over 16 international awards. Among them are Hambre de Libertad (2020) and Hotel Stories (2022), where he also served as director of photography and editor. In 2022, he was awarded Best Young Filmmaker at the Wild Indie Film Festival in the UK. With a background in Bellas Artes and a well-rounded approach to filmmaking, his work has been praised for its visual originality, narrative tension, and thematic depth. CARNE is his debut feature, selected for the Brussels Genre Film Market and the Entre Fronteras market, and recognized as of ministerial interest by the Ministry of Education and Culture of Uruguay.
