Ryoji Yamada

Born in 1987 and lived in Germany working as a trainee for the Japanese Council for Cultural Affairs, and studying at Filmakademie for 2018–2019 as a guest student. Finished MFA in Tama Art University in 2013, he was working at Garage Film .inc as an animator for 3 years, after he become a freelance. Continued to produce artwork alongside creating moving images for advertisements.Still an undergrad in 2010, he broke into the animation industry by participating in the International Animation Film Festival. Today, his films are screened in Japan and internationally at shows like the Annecy International Animation Film Festival.
