Miguel A. Dimaiwat

Miguel Dimaiwat is a filmmaker based in Manila, Philippines. He focuses on character-driven stories that explore morality, human vulnerability, and the complexities of life and identity. His debut short film, Kaon (2025), premiered at the 7th SineOmni Film Festival, earning nominations for Best Film and Best Sound Design, and later won 3rd Best Short Film (Open Category) at the 8th Sinag Maynila Independent Film Festival in 2026.
