Juan Donoso
Juan Donoso is a filmmaker and producer specializing in the intersection of social movements and cinema, with a focus on land defenders, water rights, and energy production, impact campaigns, public relations, and community outreach for socio-environmental projects. For over a decade, he has been deeply engaged with the Atacama Desert and trans-local social movements, refining visual storytelling strategies to drive action and long-term change. His work has been featured in Deutsche Welle, Süddeutsche Zeitung, El País España, and CNN Chile. Key projects participation include Bertha Foundation fellowship, ESoDoc, Balkan Discoveries, School of Transnational Activism, Formando Rutas Educational Project, People Powered Climate Justice, and Deutsche Welle’s “A Fondo”.
