João Pequenão

João Pequenão is a director, digital artist, and visualization expert with a background in physics. He serves as the head of the CERN Media Lab, specializing in creating immersive media that portrays complex scientific concepts with artistic and educational accuracy. In his filmmaking career, he directed the globally acclaimed fulldome planetarium documentary Phantom of the Universe: The Hunt for Dark Matter (2016), produced in collaboration with the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and CERN.
