Harrison Leech is an emerging filmmaker based in Naarm/Melbourne. His work explores sociopolitical themes and modern forms of alienation. Harrison completed a Bachelor of Film and Television at Swinburne University (2017) before undertaking his Honours at the Victorian College of the Arts (2022). With experience across a wide range of filmmaking disciplines, Harrison is focused on honing his craft and telling thought provoking stories with conceptual depth. His graduate film, Starlings of the Hyperreal, screened both locally and internationally, winning the Platinum Remi Award at WorldFest Houston. His latest project, Bunny, is a social-realist drama set in Tarneit.
