Born in Delmiro Gouveia, Alagoas on October 19, 2003 (age 22)

Gessica Lima is an artist from Alagoas, now living in Paulo Afonso (BA), and a Cinema and Audiovisual student at the Federal University of Sergipe. She works as an executive producer and curator at the UFS Cinematheque, in addition to working as a screenwriter, director, and critic. She is the co-author and organizer of the book Doses Poéticas de Absurdo (Cogito Publishing House) and also writes for the website Diário dos Filmes. She wrote and directed the short films SergipeWay: Do Barro ao Mangue and Seu Mestre Mandou; worked as a producer on Beberete; as a props producer on the short films Por uma Noite, Milagre, and Estamos Todos Brilhando; and as a production assistant on the short films Morro do Pneu Queimado, Atemporal, and Fotopintura.
