Germán López is an Argentine film director, screenwriter, and composer, born in the city of La Plata. He holds a degree in Audiovisual Arts from the Faculty of Arts (UNLP) and specializes in fantasy and horror cinema. His work is known for its strong atmospheric presence, where image and sound merge to create symbolic and sensory worlds. Among his most acclaimed works are "Para mirar comiendo mortadela" (2018), "Mueve" (2022), "Trance" (2023), and "Intraterrestres" (2024), which have been selected and awarded at both national and international film festivals, including prestigious events such as the Madrid Film Awards. In addition to directing, he composes original music for film, crafting sonic landscapes that deepen the visual narrative.
