Gabriel Bossio
A graduate of ECU (Class of '95), he directed music videos for a period for musical acts such as La Vela Puerca, No te va Gustar, Cursi, La Saga, Alejandro Lerner, La Mosca, Max Capote, Vendetta, Níquel, and Sordromo, among others. In fiction, he has directed five short films based on his own screenplays, which earned notable recognition at international festivals. His graduation short film from ECU, Chinadown, was acquired in 2000 by HBO-Cinemax for broadcast on cable networks. This success led him to direct commercials across various Latin American countries. In 2008, his debut feature film, Joya, premiered at BAFICI (Buenos Aires International Independent Film Festival). After working with various international production companies, he founded La Jolla Films in Uruguay.
