Dario Lauritano is an italian filmmaker. He studied cinema at DAMS - Cinema, Television and New Media department in Rome. He has written and directed his first feature short film, False Negative, between 2015 and 2016. After attending screenwriting and director courses, he directed Erre (2017), Rapsòdia (2019) and Come stai (2022). In 2022 he directs his first documentary, Siamo qui (2024). He also worked on movie sets such as The Vice of Hope (2018) directed by Edoardo De Angelis, The Children of the Sleeping Giant (2021) directed by Lorenzo Pallotta and Song of the Fly (2022) directed by Michele Pagano. From 2021 to 2024 he studied cinema and animation at Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia, in Turin.
