Akira Kato

Born in Tokyo, Japan on May 9, 1934 — died April 8, 2011 (aged 76)

Joined Nikkatsu and studied under Ko Nakahira. He is one of the directors that supported the heyday of Nikkatsu Roman Porno. After that he was active mainly on TV dramas.
