Yoksan Xu

Born in Santiago de Chile, Chile on April 13, 2000 (age 26)

Chilean trans filmmaker and editor, born in 2000. She studied Audiovisual Directing at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, where she directed the short films *Travesti Travesti Travesti*, *violeta.wav*, *en vivo*, and *Chi(le)na*. The latter received the Best Emerging Short Film Award at FIDOCS and went on to have a festival run in Chile and internationally. She currently works as an assistant editor on documentary and fiction features, collaborating on productions for streaming platforms and independent production companies. In parallel, she is developing her first fiction feature film.
