Mamoru Sasaki

Born in Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan on September 13, 1936 — died February 24, 2006 (aged 69)

Mamoru Sasaki was a Japanese screenwriter for film and television. He frequently collaborated with Japanese New Wave filmmakers like Nagisa Oshima and Masao Adachi. He was also a prolific writer for Japanese tokusatsu shows with Akio Jissoji. Not to be confused with the Japanese animator with the same name.
