Cornelis Dirk van der Lugt Melsert (1882 - 1969) was a Dutch stage actor, director and critic, who appeared on screen twice. Both of these films, Willem van Oranje (1934) and Veertig Jaren (1938), were government commissioned films celebrating the Dutch House of Orange-Nassau.
