Cai Booi
Cai Booi is a filmmaker, writer, producer, and worldbuilder based in the Netherlands, with roots in Curaçao. His work combines emotionally driven character stories with large-scale speculative worlds, often exploring survival, identity, loss, and the consequences of power. He wrote, directed, and produced the short film *Operation Playground: Zero*, a post-apocalyptic survival drama set during an outbreak known as the Revenance. The film forms part of a broader fictional universe developed by Booi across film, literature, comics, and other forms of visual storytelling. Booi is also the creator of EPIKAI, an interconnected storytelling universe built around original characters, mythologies, civilizations, and long-form narrative arcs. His creative work is focused on developing stories that can expand across multiple forms of entertainment while remaining grounded in character and emotion.
