Born in Naples, Italy on July 1, 1929 (age 97)

(Naples, 1929), with a degree in medicine, specializing in psychiatry, he began making films as an amateur, with his brothers Aldo and Antonio. After having founded the Centro di Filmologia e Cinema Sperimentale in Naples in 1966, together with his brothers, Vincenzo M. Siniscalchi and Nicola De Rinaldo, he was a very active member of CCI in its initial phase. He soon interrupted his activity in cinema to concentrate on his career as a psychoanalyst.
